The Tongue Principle

“…men will have to give account of every idle (inoperative, nonworking) word they speak. For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced” (Matthew 12:36-37) (AMP.)

Time and time again the scriptures admonish us to pay attention to the words that we speak. This is because our words mold our lives and deliver to us that which we speak.

Paul speaking to the Colossians church said, “Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt…” (Colossians 4:6). Your words ought to be full of life, ministering grace not only to you, but also to those who hear you speak.

When you speak about your inabilities, lack or want, that’s what you will get. Jesus said you get what you say (Mark 11: 23). Therefore, rather than speaking words that will deter you in life, speak those words that would catapult you to glorious realms of victory and prosperity. Speak words that would cause your health to flourish. Whether or not you realize it, those words are the building blocks of your life. They determine the quality of life that you will live now and in the future.

Regardless of what you see in your physical body, the Word of God is the truth. Proclaim continually that you are walking in divine health, and that’s what you will get. Glory to God!

Faith Confessions (Say this Aloud to Yourself)
I declare in the Name of Jesus that I am complete in Christ! Nothing is lacking in my body, soul or spirit! Everything that is supposed to be in me is there, and nothing needs to be added or taken out!
I am carefully crafted by God Himself, fashioned for good works and predestinated for the good life. I am wonderfully and fearfully made, and the Lord daily perfects all that concerns me.
My health is perfected in the Name of Jesus! Everything that concerns me is perfected in the Name of Jesus. I know who I am; I am the very offspring of God Almighty. I reject sickness, poverty and the low life because I was born for the top. The Spirit of God is at work in me; He is the life of my physical body. I am God’s most cherished workmanship. Hallelujah!
